Privacy Policy

CampusHub ("CampusHub," "we," "us") provides a platform for homeschool organizations to manage classes and enrollment. This policy describes what information we collect through the CampusHub platform (campushubhq.com) and how we use it.

Information we collect

When you or your organization use CampusHub, we collect:

  • Account information: name, email address, and role (admin, staff, teacher, parent, or student), tied to your organization.
  • Family and enrollment information: children added to a family profile, and the classes a family enrolls in or requests to join.
  • Class and organization content: class listings, schedules, and organization settings that admins and teachers create.
  • Usage and security records: sign-in activity and an audit log of administrative actions (who did what, and when), used to secure the platform and investigate issues.

We do not require or knowingly collect payment card data directly — CampusHub does not currently process payments on the platform.

Student accounts

Student accounts are created by a parent or guardian from their own Family dashboard — students cannot self-register, and organization admins do not create student accounts directly. If your family includes a child under 13, the parent or guardian controls that child's account and can request its removal at any time. We rely on parents and guardians to only add children with appropriate consent, and we do not use student information for advertising or sell it to third parties.

How we use information

  • To operate the platform: authenticate accounts, run enrollment and approval workflows, and enforce organization boundaries.
  • To communicate with you: password resets, invitations, enrollment notifications, and account activity alerts.
  • To keep the platform secure: audit logging of sensitive actions, and detecting misuse.
  • To understand aggregate usage of the marketing site (see Analytics, below) — we do not use this to track individuals across other sites.

Who we share information with

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with the service providers that run CampusHub on our behalf, and only to the extent needed to provide the service:

  • Vercel — application hosting.
  • Neon — database hosting (PostgreSQL).
  • Resend — transactional email delivery (invitations, password resets, magic-link sign-in, notifications).
  • Google or Microsoft — only if you choose to sign in with a Google or Microsoft account.

Other members of your organization (admins and staff) can see information you and your family provide, as part of how the platform is designed to work. We never share your organization's data with other organizations on the platform.

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics on our public marketing pages to understand aggregate traffic (e.g., which pages are visited). It does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites.

Data retention

We keep account and enrollment data for as long as your organization is active on the platform. Security audit logs are retained on a schedule based on severity (30 days to 1 year) before automatic deletion. If your organization closes its account, we offer an export of your organization's data followed by deletion, per our standard offboarding process.

Security

Access to your organization's data is restricted by role and enforced at the database-query level. Every organization's data is isolated from every other organization's. Sensitive administrative actions are recorded in an audit trail.

Your choices

You can review and update your account information from your dashboard. To request a copy of your data, or its deletion, contact your organization admin or reach us directly (below).

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify organization admins.
